DEBUT NOVEL

UNION YES

What if we didn’t need permission to change our lives?

A black and white illustration of a blank rectangular sign on a post.

Not in fae courts.
But on the shop floor.

I’ve always loved a good battle between good and evil, but why do those stories always happen in far-off fantasy lands?

I wanted to write a story where the magic is real, the stakes are now, and the heroes are the ones organizing between shifts and advocating for workers’ rights.

Years in the labor movement have introduced me to the fiercest, funniest, most unforgettable characters, people fantasy books forget.

The labor movement isn’t just back —
It’s roaring.

And it deserves a love story that roars with it.

Person holding a white and yellow megaphone.

This book is not about heroes or villains.
It’s about what you choose when no one is watching.

Why this BOOK

matters now

Because real heroes aren’t born in fantasy worlds, they’re organizing in ours. Union Yes shines a light on the courage, chaos, and quiet power of people standing up for each other when it counts.

Synopsis

Once upon a time: There was a very clever and capable but anxiety-ridden labor lawyer named Sarah who worked at a law firm in NYC representing labor unions.

Every day: Sarah would go to a toxic workplace and put in long hours for a bullying boss and too little money, trapping her in a cycle of debt, demoralization, and self-doubt.

Until one day: Sarah was assigned to work on a union organizing campaign and fell head over heels for the dreamy, idealistic organizer named Jude. Jude, along with the union’s leader Frank, embraced Sarah as one of their own and taught her how to inspire people to get organized.

Because of that: Sarah’s confidence soared, which was noticed by opposing counsel, who offered Sarah a lucrative, life-changing job opportunity. The catch? She would have to change sides in the fight and betray the progressive values she lived and loved by.

Because of that: Sarah was faced with a choice between working at her union-side firm with its impoverished idealism, or crossing over to the other side and working against the labor movement to guarantee a life of financial security for herself and her family.

Until finally…

Sarah must decide which side she is on. What will she choose?
